Mary Margaret Smith

BATAVIA - Mary Margaret Smith, age 99, went to be with Jesus on May 8, 2021. She was born on May 3, 1922 to the late John and Anna (nee Rivers) Reynolds. She was the devoted wife of the late Elmer Smith; beloved mother of Charles Wise, Thomas Smith, Annie (Gordon) Lewis, Debbie Smith, and the late Teresa Smith; loving step-mother of Donnie Smith, Pam (Dave) Teegarden, Marilyn (Dave) Richardson, Melissa (Bob) Zeigler, the late Louie Smith, and the late Charlotte Fritts; dear sister of the late Ann Haag, the late Gertrude Wallace, and numerous late brothers; beloved grandmother of 14, and cherished great-grandmother to numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Mary loved her flower gardens, Bingo, and was known as the mother of her neighborhood. Family will receive friends from 9 AM until 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Catholic Church in Owensville, Ohio. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to Clermont Catholic Communities.
