Melinda was the cherished daughter of Wilford and Clarine Miller. She was a committed spouse to Mike Knauff and a devoted mother to her four sons, Dennis, Tony, Kelvin, and Timothy Shearer. She is also survived by her daughter in laws, Krystal, Tanya, and Shelly Shearer. She has numerous grandchildren including Christopher, Chasity, Brandon, Timothy, Morgan, Mariah, Addison, Harleigh, Cheyenne, Kayson and Lettie Shearer. Melinda's legacy continues through her great grandchildren Annabelle and Dakota Shearer along with many others.

Throughout her life, Melinda excelled in her role as a supervisor in the Janitorial industry, ensuring that she brought diligence and pride to her work. However, her greatest passion lays in the warmth of family and the joy of caring for her animals. She found immense happiness in her love for western television shows, which provided her comfort and entertainment in her leisure time. Most cherished were the moments she spent with her grandchildren, where her laughter and kindness fostered deep connections and lasting memories.

Melinda's spirit will live on in those who knew and loved her. Her cherished memories, deep love for family and gentle soul will be profoundly missed. Cremation has taken place, and her family will hold a private ceremony to celebrate her life and legacy in the coming days.

Melinda was proceeded in death by: Wilford and Clarine Miller, Isham Carol Crabtree, and Tony and Alaina Shearer.
