U.S. Navy Veteran Retzler, Michael John past on 4/30/22 in Jackson Twp at his home at the age 82 years, 9 months and 30 days. He was born in Georgetown, Ohio to Michael P. and Eva C. Retzler (nee Weber). Loving father of Sharon Retzler (Dan) Colyer. Brother of Fredrick (Donna) Retzler and the late Kathleen (1985) and Mary Grace Retzler (1947) Cherished grandfather of Adam G. (Cassandra) Retzler and Ashley N. (Michael) Brock. Great grandfather of Ethan Bacca, Shaylee Retzler, Emma Brock, Kyle Retzler, Alyssa Retzler and Lillian Brock. Uncle of Amanda (Josh) Jones and Fredrick (Rebecca) Retzler.

Family will receive friends and family on Friday 5/6/22 for a Mass of Christian Burial 10AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church 140 North 6th Street Batavia, Ohio. Veteran Military Honors and Interment 11:15PM Friday at Batavia Union Cemetery Batavia, Ohio.

Michael was an Alumni of Batavia Schools, graduate of 1957. He worked for Cincinnati Bell Co. for 35 years and served in the Navy from 1957-1961 as a torpedoman 2nd Class.
