Morgan Marckwald

November 29, 1977 — April 19, 2023

Morgan Natalie Marckwald, 45 years old, died peacefully, surrounded by family on April 19, 2023 following a courageous battle with Crohn's Disease and Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Morgan was born on November 29, 1977, in Morristown, New Jersey to Trudy Kissel and the late Hunt Marckwald of Quogue, New York. She and her two younger brothers, Hunter (43) and Nick (42) spent their formative years in Peapack/Gladstone, New Jersey attending Far Hills Country Day School followed by Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana, Missoula prior to embarking on extensive travel throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and Hawaii. Morgan was a free spirit with unique abilities and authentic expression. She found beauty and joy in life's simple pleasures, particularly the outdoors. She was an avid photographer and lover of the sea and marine life. An early career highlight was being a Professional Dive Master and Certified Guide.

Morgan lived a life full of purpose and passion for healing and wellness of the mind, body and spirit. She was an ordained High Priestess and specialized in turning of age astrology, bodywork and psychic therapy. Her greatest achievements, however, were her daughters Skylar (18) and Riley (16) Lundeen. Morgan and her girls were inseparable and loved spending summers at the beach in Quogue, Long Island and regular visits to Southern Florida.

Morgan is survived by daughters Skylar and Riley, her mother Trudy, siblings Hunter (Ashley) Marckwald (Boynton Beach, FL), Nick (Kimberly) Marckwald (Cincinnati, OH), Beau (Abby) Tuke (Cincinnati, Ohio), and Elizabeth (Bobby) Dake (West Palm Beach, FL), stepfather Carl F. Tuke Jr (Hobe Sound, FL), stepmother Cathy Marckwald (Westhampton, NY) in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and adoring friends.

A celebration of Morgan's life will be held privately by her family.
