Paul Gilbert

NEWTOWN - Paul Gilbert, age 86, passed away on March 26, 2024. He was born on August 1, 1937, to the late Frank and Verna (nee Chandler) Gilbert. Paul was the loving husband of Mary Gilbert (nee Wagers) for 66 years; devoted father of Patty (Bill) Weisenberger, Ronnie (Debbie) Gilbert, and Rick (Karen) Gilbert; cherished grandfather of Lia (Joe) Conrady, Micah (Sarah) Gilbert, and Brent (Jaclyn) Gilbert; great-grandfather of six great-grandchildren; and dear brother of Ann Murray.

Paul loved wildlife and his dogs and grand-dogs. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, and especially liked going through the ads and clipping coupons. One of his greatest joys was growing a vegetable garden each year. 

Private services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
