LOCATION: American Legion Victor Stier Post 450 111 Victor Stier Dr. Milford, Ohio 45150 Richard C. “Dick” Bausch, age 74, resident of Anderson Township, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16th 2020. He was the beloved husband of Norma Bausch (nee Baessler) for 54 wonderful years, cherished Son of the late Harry and Emily Bausch, and Gottfried and Louise Baessler, and devoted Father of Rick (Stacey) Bausch, and Rob (the late Vicki) Bausch. Dick graduated from Purcell High School in 1964. Afterwards, he faithfully served the Cincinnati Fire Department for 30 years where he met many of his lifelong friends. Together, Dick and his Firefighter Family selflessly provided decades of safety and protection for residents of the city he called home. Dick is the cherished Brother of 4 siblings; preceded in death by Jim (Pat) Bausch, Doug Bausch, and Mary Ann (Jack) Enright, survived by Jay (the late Nancy) Bausch, and Doug’s wife Peggy. He was the beloved Brother-in-law to Fred (Dee) Baessler, and Jeanette (Joe) Switzer, and loving Grandfather of Paige (Ethan), Jordan, and Porter. Dick is survived by many loved nieces and nephews, as well as his buddy, Casper the dog. Throughout his life, Dick has been blessed with many close friends and neighbors who have supported him and Norma through the years. In light of the current COVID-19 Pandemic, there will be a private service for immediate family only with a Celebration of Life to follow once it is deemed safe to do so.
