Son of the late Wilbur C. and Elvera Niederhauser Abbott. Grandfather of Brittany Bollen, Ryan Abbott, Kelley, Brian, and Katie (fiancé Garrin Powell) Cox, Stephanie (Chad) Houck, Jennifer (Paul) Anderson, Pamela (Brian) Carver. Great-grandfather of Piper Bollen, Jacob Cox, Abby and Hannah Houck, Jillian and Caleb Anderson, Robyn and Levi Carver. Robert worked 26 years as a Quality Control Inspector for Ford Motor Co. Family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, June 15th at Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main Street, Newtown, OH. A Masonic Service will begin at 6:30 PM followed by a Memorial Service. Interment will be 10:00 AM Tuesday in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
