Ronald C. Wentzel

UNION TOWNSHIP - Ronald C. Wentzel.  Ronald went to be with the lord on February 24, 2022, at the age of 89.  Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on October 25, 1932.  Husband of the late Joan L. (nee Wright) Wentzel (11/29/2009). Preceded in death by his loving parents Carl R. and Angie Wentzel and a beloved daughter Theresa A. Wentzel (1/27/2022). Cherished father of Arlene C. (late John) Stephens, Veronica M. (Bob) Elliott and Amy A. (Tim) Meyer. Brother of Richard Wentzel.  Loving grandfather of Justin R. (Jessica) Elliott, Morgan A. Meyer and Donnie T. Meyer.  Great-grandfather of Madison and Caden.  Family will receive friends Friday, March 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Service at Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, OH.  Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery.  Family will then hold a Celebration of Ronald's life in the spring.  Ronald was well known for his gentle and selfless qualities.  Ronald was an incredibly loving individual and was admired by many for his big heart and warm personality.  He knew no stranger.  His kindness, generosity, and support were an inspiration to others and his presence was a blessing to all those who drew near to him.
