Mrs. Ruby was my neighbor. A couple years ago, she mistook my car for hers during the winter. She applied de-icer to the lock because her key wouldn't open the door. After AAA arrived, she realized it wasn't her car. Most people wouldn't have told anyone, but Mrs. Ruby did. She unnecessarily apologized too. We laughed about it, but it was truly character defining! Mrs. Ruby, your honest, friendly face will sincerely be missed. It was a pleasure having you as my neighbor.

There are so many awesome memories. Mom got her hair done once a week. one time she came home with hair freshly done and while I was dancing in the kitchen in our trailer I kicked the handle from the skillet of eggs that were cooking and it flew into her freshly done hair. I thought she would be furious but she laughed seeing the horror on my face. when my children were young and they got sick Mom always brought meds and cookies and fruit and juice. she was the best mom ever and she will be so missed
