Sherry and I shared an apartment off-campus when we went to UK in 1968. We explored Lexington on foot as neither of us had a vehicle. We sailed paper plates down the gutters during a heavy rainstorm, got locked into the Lexington Cemetery because we stayed past closing time, and shared the joys and trials of growing into adulthood. She was my bridesmaid when I married in 1971. I will never forget her and her wonderful smile.
