Cincinnati

Thomas John Bosken, lovingly known as Tom, passed away on March 21, 2026, surrounded and comforted by the love of his children after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a devoted father, cherished grandfather, and a beloved friend who touched the lives of all who knew him.

Tom was the loving father of two children: Adam Charles Bosken and Antoinette Lucille Hiltgen "Toni," whom he shared with his ex-wife Donna, with whom he remained close friends throughout his life. He was the proud "Papal" to his four grandchildren Isaac and Elyanna, both children of Adam, and London, serving in US Army, and Roman, serving in US Army, both children of Toni. His family was the center of his heart, and he was known far and wide for his unwavering dedication to bringing everyone together - always finding a reason to celebrate, whether it be a birthday, holiday, or simply just because. More than anything, family brought Tom the greatest joy, and even in his final days, speaking with his grandchildren gave him a sudden burst of energy and light, a testament to the deep love he carried for them.

Born to Helen and Fred Sr., Tom grew up and was the baby brother to his siblings: his brother Fred Jr. (Sonya), his sister Barb Comello (Jimmy), and his sister Suzy Bosken, who tragically passed away at the age of 19. The bonds he shared with his family remained strong throughout his life.

Tom's life was marked by remarkable strength and resilience. Despite facing great obstacles, he never lost his spirit or his joy for life. He forged a new path surrounded by a warm circle of family and friends at the Clough Pike YMCA. There, Tom was a daily inspiration - dedicating his time to working out, practicing yoga, volunteering, and offering help to anyone in need. His kindness and generosity shone through every day and touched the lives of many.

His warm and sweet smile was infectious, brightening the days of all who knew him. He carried a youthful spirit and longed always to maintain that vitality and zest for life.

A true lover of the outdoors, Tom had a deep passion for the beach and the ocean. He was once the proud owner of a ski boat which he took out on rivers and lakes, and anyone nearby could see and feel the sense of joy beaming from him as he shared his love of the water with others. His home was always kept warm and inviting, a reflection of his warm heart.

Known for his incredible self-sufficiency, Tom had the rare ability to fix or build just about anything himself, tackling every challenge with patience and skill.

Not to be forgotten was Tom's companionship with his beloved Chihuahua, Pablo. With muscles as big as his love for walking him, Pablo was Tom's faithful friend and a joyful part of his daily routine.

Tom's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who experienced his laughter, kindness, and unwavering love. A celebration of Tom's life will be held to honor his memory and the remarkable legacy he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Rest in peace, Dad, "Papal" - your strength, love, and spirit continue to inspire us all. You are in our hearts, always and forever.
