Thomas Victor Young

BATAVIA - Thomas Victor Young, age 75, passed away on January 27, 2026. He was born on September 27, 1950, to the late Robert and Katherine (nee Black) Young. Tom was the beloved husband of Darlene (nee Cruey) Young; devoted father of Joe Young, Matt (Katie) Young, and Randy (Amber) Young; cherished grandfather of Sydney, Kyle, Elizabeth, Emily, Molly, and Calvin; great-grandfather of Jack and Natalie; dear brother of Norma Sydnor, Ray Young, Bobby Young, Jack Young, Mike Young, Linda Bridges, and Tim Young, all of whom preceded him in death. Tom is also survived by many beloved brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews who were very dear to him.

Tom proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. He was known for his passion for classic cars, especially 50s and 60s Chevrolets. Tom enjoyed tinkering in his workshop, fishing, camping, and his love for old western television shows, especially Gunsmoke.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 9:30AM until 11:30AM funeral service at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
