Troy Davis, Jr.

BATAVIA - Troy Davis, Jr., age 72, passed away on November 8, 2021. He was born on August 26, 1949 to the late Troy and Marie (nee Young) Davis, Sr. Troy was the loving husband of Suzanne Davis; devoted father of Justin (Emily Bowling) Davis, Troy (Mackenzie Brock) Davis, III, and step-father of Keith Hounschell; cherished grandfather of Zoey Marie Davis and Caiden Helmers; and dear brother of Daryle (Koza) Davis, Beverly Simon, Norma Davis, Cathy (Dan) Conners, Kim (Mark Apel) Compton, and the late David Davis. Troy was an avid golfer, and proud 1967 graduate of Glen Este High School. In 1997, Troy was inducted into the Glen Este Athletic Hall of Fame for football, basketball, and baseball. Troy's family will receive friends at Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 4PM until 6PM funeral service. Following services, friends are welcome to gather at VFW Post 9630, 4283 Stoddard Lane, Batavia, Ohio 45103.
