I was saddened to say the least when I heard of Valerie's passing.I read somewhere when you have a talent improve on that talent and share it with others .Valerie did just that with her painting.I learned so much in her classes. My sympathy to Frank and family, she will be missed. BONNIE EVANS

I knew Valerie as my painting teacher. She brought out talent in my that I didn't know I had. She was soft spoken and encouraging, always with a positive attitude. Every piece of my artwork will contain a bit of Valerie. I will always think of her as I am painting. Deepest sympathy to Frank and the family.

I was so shocked to see this. I've been meaning to call her and I kept putting it off. I remember all of the vacations we took together when we were young and with our families. I've known her since we were 5 or 6 years old. I will really miss you, my friend. RIP sweet girl. My heart goes out to her family. Take care, Frank. Love, Carole and Bill.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our dear friend Valerie. The "paint girls" shared many hours of painting, conversation and laughter while she taught us her gifted art of painting. Rest in peace Valerie. We will all miss you! So thankful our paths crossed, we will cherish those fond memories. Pati Schultz
