Vincenzia "Virginia" Arcuri, 88, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026.
Born in New York, Virginia lived a life full of energy, humor, and a fierce love for her family. She spent her life always "on the go" working as a secretary, playing tennis, gardening, traveling, and enjoying her children's many sports and music concerts.
Above all, Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest pride was seeing her children and grandchildren pursue their education and grow into successful and happy people. She also was a sincere and loyal friend to many and remained connected to many childhood friends who knew her as Cookie.
She is survived by her children, Lisa (RJ) Galasso, Joe (Maria) Arcuri, Susan Arcuri (Dan Morgante), and Tom Arcuri; her grandchildren, Katie (Mike) Roper, Joey (Madison) Arcuri, Nicholas (Rachel) Arcuri, Lauren Arcuri, Christopher Adamik, Michael Adamik, and William Arcuri and great grandchildren Trey Arcuri and Vincent Arcuri. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angelo Arcuri, and dear grandson, Kevin Galasso.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at St. Rose of Lima Church (2501 Riverside Dr. Cincinnati, OH) beginning with a visitation at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Marielders Senior Center (6923 Madisonville Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45227) or through their website at marielders.org.
