AMELIA - Virginia A. Hancock, age 93, passed away on April 18, 2026. She was born on August 29, 1932, to the late Leonard and Adah (nee Heffner) Stratton. Virginia was devoted wife of the late Howard Hancock; loving mother of Rick (Vicki) McCarty; dear sister of the late Helen Smith; aunt of Alan, Delza, Paul, and other nieces and nephews. Virginia enjoyed crafting and volunteered for numerous charities throughout her life.
Family and friends may visit on April 23, 2026, from 10AM until 10:30AM funeral service at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Interment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens at 12PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations in Virginia's honor be made to a charity of choice.
