Wanda M. Hunter

NEWTOWN - Wanda M. "Mommom" "Maw" Hunter, age 90, passed away on October 5, 2024. She was born on July 26, 1934, to the late Arthur and Dorothy (nee Dumford) Sheets. Wanda was the devoted wife of the late Elmer Eugene "Gene" Hunter; loving mother of Dennis Eugene "Joe" Hunter; beloved grandmother of Annie (Ricky) Massmann, Kristy "Tia" (the late Jason) Schneider, and Josh (Jesi) Hunter; cherished great-grandmother of Keyona, Kayla, Emma, Joey, Penny, Deegan, Rylee, Rayven, Raylynn, and Raychel; and great-great-grandmother of Kendra, Ezra, Kaeden, Aria, Corinna, and Zeke. During her life, Wanda loved playing softball and was an avid marathon runner clocking over 15,000 miles. 

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 6PM-8PM at Wanda's house - 3870 Newtown Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
