William P. Coogan Jr.

William P. Coogan Jr., age 76, of Newtown, Ohio, passed away on April 26, 2026. Bill lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness and was known for his warm personality, great sense of humor, and willingness to help others.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Coogan (née Wood); his daughter, Elizabeth Weddendorf (James Mwalali); his stepsons, Dan (Angie), Gary (Kathy), and Ron Daily; and his grandchildren, William and Catherine Weddendorf, Jordan Daily, Austin Hilderbrant, Mikyla Williams, Chip Daily, and Leslie Daily. He was the son of the late William Coogan Sr. and Ruby Cole (née Butler).

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main St., Newtown, Ohio. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Ridgewood Cemetery, 203 E. Broadway Street, Wellston, Ohio
