William Samuel Heming, US Marine Veteran, peacefully passed away on September 20, 2023, in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 83. Born on October 4, 1939, to John and Hilda Heming. Loving husband of 63 years to Virginia Lee (nee Fisher) Heming. Cherished Father of Victoria (Bill) Thomas, Bill (Pam) Heming, Timothy (Sara) Heming, Thomas (Holly) Heming, Michael (the late Greg Hatcher) Heming. Beloved Grandfather of April (DJ), RJ, Allison (Leah), Courtney (Marcus), Zachary, Spencer, Emory, and TJ. Best Papa to Zoey, Kaylee, Brylee, Kylee, Parker, Avery and Everlee. Loyal Brother to the late Agnes Cook and the late Albert Heming (WWII Veteran).

William met Virginia, the love of his life and wife of 63 years when they were 13 years old which is one of Virginia's fondest memories.  Having lost his Brother in WWII, William enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. They married after basic training and when he returned from his service in Korea, they started building the family that he would love and care for the rest of his life. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, never passing up an overtime opportunity to make sure his wife and kids had what they needed to be involved in sports and other activities. Regardless of his grueling work schedule, he was always there for his wife and family.  He coached and practiced baseball, football and soccer with his kids at all hours and if he wasn't coaching, he was cheering his kids and grandkids on as their number one fan. He was strict and disciplined but noted to have one of the biggest hearts by all of those that knew him. He cherished his grandkids, always asking how each one of them were doing when he wasn't able to see them. Truly a selfless man that was respected by everyone he met. He loved to spend time at sporting events, recitals, the casino and horse track with his wife and family. He cared deeply for his loving bride every step of the way. He truly was a one of a kind, devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.  Now revered as Our Heavenly Marine.
