Meagan is survived by her parents, Melissa and Tim Oakley and Ron Toothman, a sister Victoria Oakley and brother Samuel Oakley. Grandparents are Ed and Carole McCorkle of Bellaire, Janet Toothman of Jacobsburg, Jack and Saranne Oakley of Nelsonville, Helen Campbell of Shadyside, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her beloved dog Mabel.  Meagan’s obituary is best written by the amazing number of lives she has touched in her life and death.  Support and love have come from all over the country.  As a coach, friend, nanny, and colleague, Meagan was always there with a hug and a smile, leaving all who knew her a little better for the contact.  Just as important to us has been the news that she has become a positive force for organ donors.  We have received thousands of notes from people who have had their lives impacted by the donation of an organ.  In death as in life, Meagan has continued to help and serve others.  She continues to embody the Witt motto of having light and passing it on to others.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Meagan Toothman Scholarship Fund c/o Turpin High School 2650 Bartels Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244.
